MARGATE, FL:  Stage Door Theatre will present Neil Simon’s classic comedy The Sunshine Boys in the popular venue’s intimate Theatre 2, from August 18th through September 24th.

The Sunshine Boys – Al Lewis and Willie Clark – were Vaudeville stars and partners for over forty years, but haven’t spoken to one another for over eleven. When Willie’s nephew Ben approaches his uncle about reuniting with his ex-partner to perform one of their classic skits on a CBS television comedy, their eventual reunion is fraught with acrimony, arguments, memories, and laughter.

“The Sunshine Boys is the fourth Neil Simon play I’ve directed and I think it’s his best,” says the show’s director, Michael Leeds. “It’s incredibly funny, I mean rolling in the aisles funny, and also quite touching.  It’s based on a real actor named Willie Howard who was a very eccentric vaudeville comedian.  Simon got the idea of taking Willie and giving him a partner whom he hasn’t spoken to in twelve years and now they’re going to be on an Ed Sullivan special – and they can’t stand each other.

“I was lucky enough to get a great cast led by Michael Small and Peter Librach, two pros who have these characters in their bones,” Leeds continues. “There’s a hysterical scene where they’re rehearsing the routine, arguing about everything from the line delivery to the furniture placement and it has one of the funniest moments I’ve seen on stage.  If there was a definition of “crowd pleaser” in the dictionary, it would say: ‘Neil Simon’s The Sunshine Boys’.”
Along with Small and Librach, Leeds has cast Ben Sandomir as Willie’s nephew Ben Silverman.  Also in the cast are George Schiavone, Vicki Klein, Jeanin Gangloff, and Elijah Pearson-Martinez.

The show’s production team includes Set Designer Michael McClain, Lighting Designer Dean Landhuis, and Costume Designer Jerry Sturdivant.  Stage manager is Jose-Luis Ramos, and Paul O’Donnell is the productions Operations Manager.

The Sunshine Boys will run from August 18 – September 24 at Stage Door Theatre. The theatre is located at 8036 Sample Road, in Margate.

WILTON MANORS, FL: “I’ve always been drawn to the paintings of the great Impressionists,” award-winning playwright and director Michael Leeds mused recently.  “As opposed to the idealized forms and perfect symmetry that was the norm, the Impressionists chose subjects from all walks of life, capturing who they were and what they were doing in that fleeting moment in time.  I was especially intrigued by the women in their paintings.  What were they thinking? What were they feeling?  What was their world like?”

Leeds explores this theme when Pigs Do Fly Productions presents the World Premiere of his new play, Impressions, at the Abyss Stage in Wilton Manors.  The production will run from July 21 – August 6. (There will be a preview performance on July 20th at 8 pm.)

From a Monet matron to a Degas dancer, Impressions brings these women to life to reveal their joys, their fears and their passions.

“When Michael approached me with his ideas during our last production, Invasion of Privacy, I became excited immediately,” Pigs Do Fly Productions founder and Executive Producer Ellen Wacher says.  “By wonderful coincidence that period of art is my favorite. I’ve worked with Michael – I am, and always have been – a great admirer of his work, and now, after reading the play I can hardly wait to see it myself!”

“Writing Impressions gave me the opportunity to enter the world of each painting and imagine the events surrounding the moments captured by these incredible artists,” Leeds explains.   “And, although it wasn’t intentional, when I was done, I found these women were all linked in some way by the limitations society imposed on them due to their gender, their class, or their age.

“Of course, none of this would be possible without the enthusiastic support of Ellen Wacher and Pigs Do Fly Productions,” Leeds continues.  “When I first brought the project to Ellen, I had no idea she was a passionate devotee of the Impressionists.   We’re both incredibly excited to see how it all comes together. The production elements of the play present many challenges in how to best bring these paintings to life.  Luckily, I’ve got three extremely versatile actresses, and a great design team.  To quote a Sondheim lyric, “Putting it together bit by bit… Art isn’t easy!”

Wacher and Leeds have cast three award-winning actresses – Patti Gardner, Barbara Sloan, and Karen Stephens – to bring the iconic paintings Leeds has chosen to life.  Along with Edgar Degas and Claude Monet, Leeds has chosen works by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Édouard Manet, Mary Cassatt, Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, Gustave Caillebotte, Frédéric Bazille, Isaac Israëls, and Marie Bracquemond to ‘illustrate’.

Leeds and Wacher have enlisted recent Carbonell Award-winner Jodi Dellaventura to design the Impressions set.  Others on the show’s design team are Kevin Black (Projections), Ardean Landhuis (Lighting Design), Jerry Sturdefant (Costume Design), David Hart (Sound). Kevin Raymond Hammond (Wigs). Jeff Ostrow will serve as Impressions’ Production Stage Manager.

MARGATE, FL:  Charity Hope Valentine, Dance Hall Hostess, unlucky romantic, and eternal optimist, continuously searches for true love in Sweet Charity, the Tony Award-winning musical which will open at Broward’s Stage Door Theatre on November 4th and run through December 11th at the Broward Stage Door Theatre.

Neil Simon’s sparklingly clever script, loosely adapted from Fellini’s “Nights in Cabiria”, follows Charity (and some of her very unusual friends) through a series of misadventures, and documents her constant and unfortunate tendency to offer her heart to the wrong man.  Simon updated the story from Rome in the 1950s to New York City in the 1960s while the hippie culture was just emerging and taxi dancers were quickly becoming relics.

“Sweet Charity has always been one of my favorite musicals,” says the show’s Carbonell Award-winning director, Michael Leeds.  With a score by Cy Coleman and Dorothy Fields and a book by Neil Simon, the show is sheer entertainment from start to finish.”

Coleman and Fields’ Tony Award-winning musical’s score includes songs that have become classics in America’s musical theatre lexicon, including Big Spender, If My Friends Could See Me Now, Baby, Dream Your Dream, and Too Many Tomorrows.

“It’s a large cast and it calls for a strong ensemble, (17!) able to handle the Fosse-esque numbers”, Leeds continues.   “Luckily, we’ve got a terrific choreographer, Danny Durr who honors Fosse while still making these numbers his own.   Of course, there’s no Sweet Charity without a – well – sweet Charity and Kristina Huegel is a triple threat who will knock you out.  As you can tell, I’m very excited about this show!” he says.

Kristina Huegel will be joined on stage by Richard Lafleur as Oscar Lindquist, Rick Hvizdak as Vidal, Larry Buzzeo as Herman, and Rasheem Ford as Daddy Brubeck.  Also in the cast are Vickie Anderson, Brody Awalt, Matthew Blum, Jerel Brown, Keagan Tanner Cerny, Jonathan Eisele, Nicole Kinzel, Natalie McPherson, Eddie Morales, Kaylee Olson,  Melissa Rapelje,  Casey Sacco, Sierra Stacy, Eduardo Uribe, Imani Pearl Williams, and Kelly Ziegler.

Along with choreographer Durr, who is currently starring in Stage Door’s Carbonell Recommended Swing! Swing! Swing!, Sweet Charity’s production team includes Dave Nagy as the production’s musical director and pianist,  Ardean Landhuis as lighting designer, Rushnay Henry as sound designer, and Michael McClain, who has designed the set.

“Broadway Bound is the third in Neil Simon’s ”BB” trilogy, which includes Brighton Beach Memoirs and Biloxi Blues,” explains the show’s Carbonell Award-winning director, Michael Leeds. “Stage Door’s production of Brighton Beach Memoirs was such a success that this seemed like the logical next step.  And I’m lucky to have some of those original cast members back to reprise their roles.  Since Broadway Bound takes place ten years later, it’s especially interesting for those actors to see how their characters have changed.

“In Broadway Bound Eugene has returned to his family after the war and is teetering on the verge of becoming the famous comic genius we will come to know as Neil Simon,” Leeds continues.  “He is still recording his life in his journal, and he is still struggling to understand the dynamics of sex and of family relationships.

“The play is replete with the humor Simon is known for, but for me there’s a depth in these characters Simon hadn’t shown before.  Perhaps it’s because unlike the other two plays in the trilogy, Broadway Bound is really about Kate, Eugene’s mother, the rock upon which this family stands.  There’s an indelible scene that I’m eager to stage, when Kate reminisces to Eugene about the night she and her girlfriend went to the Primrose Ballroom and George Raft asked her to dance.  The scene comes to life as Eugene asks his mother to dance. Both poignant and funny, this is just one of the many stories that unfold as Eugene finally becomes the man he was destined to be.

“I’ve got a terrific cast,” Leeds says.  “Some will be new faces to our Stage Door audience but they’ll hopefully join the tight knit family of talent that makes Stage Door such a great place to work and, of course, a great place to see great shows.”

The cast of Broadway Bound includes Pam Roza as Kate, Kristian Bikic as Eugene, Alex Salup as Stan, Michael Small as Ben, Peter Librach as Jack, and Donna Warfield as Blanche.

MARGATE, FL:  Stage Door Theatre’s production of the multi-award winning Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice musical Evita will open on March 18th and run through April 24th.

Based on the life of Argentine political leader Eva Perón, who became the spiritual leader of the nation, Evita traces this charismatic woman’s rise from obscurity to fame and fortune as one of the most influential political leaders in the country’s history.

The idea for the show began as a result of a visit to Argentina by lyricist Tim Rice, and a subsequent reunion and collaboration with composer Andrew Lloyd Webber – their first since the release of their double album Jesus Christ Superstar in 1970.  Like Superstar, Evita began as a rock opera concept album.  And like its predecessor, the album produced a smash it single, ‘Don’t Cry for Me, Argentina’, which, much to Rice’s delight would have people “walking into the theatre whistling the tune,” when the album went on to become a full length production – first in London’s West End, where it won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Musical, and then on Broadway, where it became the first British musical to win the Tony Award for Best Musical.

Evita will be directed by Michael Leeds.  Kevin Black will choreograph the production, and Caryl Fantel is the show’s Musical Director.

“Since the first production in 1978, Evita has had over a thousand productions all over the world,” says Leeds.  “Kevin and I were attracted to this story of a woman who journeys from being an illegitimate, poverty-stricken child in the pampas of Argentina to become the most powerful woman in the world.  This musical is all about passion.  It fuels every scene and every relationship.  We watch the cat and mouse foreplay between Evita and Juan Perón, their rise to power and their manipulation of an adoring public, all seen through the cynical eyes of an impassioned Che Guevara.

“Because the tango is such an integral element to that world, Kevin and I have set theentire show in a tango bar,” Leeds explains. “Kevin hired an extraordinary couple who specializes in the tango and they lead us through the story in dance just as Che does through song.  It’s a potent combination.

“We needed a really talented cast of singers to do justice to Andrew Lloyd Weber’s music, he continues.  “We were lucky to find our fourteen-member ensemble from South Florida’s talented pool of singer/dancers.  We found our Evita (Jenna Pastuszek) in New York, our Che (Trevor Whitaker) in Great Britain, and our Perón is the talented Rick Hvizdak who we just worked with in Promises, Promises.  It’s an exciting production to create and I’m sure it will be just as exciting to watch!”

Caryl Fantel, the shows musical director is equally enthusiastic. “What an epic piece of theatre!” she says. “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to be part of Stage Door’s production of Evita. MARGATE, FL:  What’s New Pussycat? The Soundtrack of an Era the popular Michael Leeds/Kevin Black musical compendium of the music of the 1960s will return to Stage Door Theatre beginning February 19th, and run through March 27th.

“We’ve had so many requests to bring back the show, not only from people who didn’t get to see it, but from those who want to see it again!” Michael Leeds explains.  “For this go round we’ve hired six very talented actor/singer/dancers from New York.  Actually, the three guys were in the show we just did, Pompadour, and we were so impressed, we asked them to stick around!  Kevin and I are having a great time re-visiting the 60s and hearing these new voices sing those incredible songs. How can you get tired of songs like “Yesterday”, “Dancing in the Street”, and of course, “What’s New, Pussycat!””

The idea for What’s New Pussycat? The Soundtrack of an Era was born when Stage Door Theatre’s artistic director Derelle Bunn mentioned to Leeds and Black that she had an open time slot for a show in the summer of 2014, and asked them if they’d be interested in ‘doing something’. They jumped at the chance. “Kevin and I had wanted to work together for a while, and this was a terrific opportunity,” Leeds said.  “And then, of course, the question became – what should we do?!”

What’s New Pussycat? The Soundtrack of an Era, the result of their collaboration opened at Stage Door Theatre in August of 2014 and was an immediate hit with audiences and critics alike.

“What’s New, Pussycat? was originally going to be a revue of just Burt Bacharach songs,” Leeds explained at the time.  “But as Kevin and I started listening to Bacharach’s music, we kept being distracted by other great songs of the same era.  So we decided to expand the show to include The Mamas & The Papas, Simon & Garfunkel, Petula Clark, Dusty Springfield, Etta James, Ray Charles, The Righteous Brothers, The Fifth Dimension and all those Motown greats like The Four Tops, The Temptations, The Supremes, The Ronettes, as well as incredible composers and writers like Henry Mancini, Michel LeGrand and of course, Burt Bacharach!

“Creating the piece took careful deliberation, Leeds continued: “From past experience, both Kevin and I learned that though there are no “rules” to creating a musical revue, there are some guidelines.  First, of course, is what songs are the most popular; the songs the audience is coming to hear.”   (See below for a complete list of songs)

Leeds and Black will revisit their roles as the show’s director and choreographer, and Carbonell Award-winner Eric Alsford will once again serve as What’s New Pussycat’s musical director/arranger.

The What’s New Pussycat?  The Soundtrack of an Era’s cast consists of Jessica Bennett, Brandon Godfrey, Preston Grover, Caitlie Moss, Dana Reminsky, and Jay Wilkinson.

Although he is primarily recognized as one of South Florida’s finest and busiest directors, Michael Leeds has also had great success as a playwright, screenwriter, and choreographer. He co-wrote and directed the Broadway musical Swinging on a Star which received a Tony Award nomination for Best Musical as well as a Drama Desk Award nomination and a Theatre World Award. Off-Broadway Leeds directed and choreographed Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah – The Songs of Allan Sherman, starring Tovah Feldshuh & Mary Testa, for which he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Best Director and Best Choreographer.  His production of the European premiere of Arthur Miller’s Playing For Time won a Festival Fringe First Award. For film, he choreographed End of Summer, starring Jacqueline Bisset and Peter Weller and co-wrote The Simian Line starring William Hurt and Lynn Redgrave, and The Last Film Festival, starring Dennis Hopper and Jacqueline Bisset. Leeds’ plays include The First Step, and The Gift.  His many South Florida productions include Mack and Mabel (Carbonell Award Best Musical), The Light In The Piazza, and A Little Night Music, (both nominated for Best Musical, and a Silver Palm Award for Direction for Night Music).  As Associate Artistic Director for Island City Stage, his production of The Timekeepers garnered six Carbonell Awards including Best Direction and Best Production of a Play. Kevin Black is the owner and artistic director of Kevin Black Productions. His expertise, experience, and creativity in directing and choreography, as well as in set, costume, and lighting design have built him a solid reputation as one of the top ‘go-to guys’ in South Florida. Kevin’s most recent work includes 8 Track, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, and Rags at The Plaza Theatre in Manalapan. He directed and choreographed Spamalot, Tommy, and The Rocky Horror Show for Entr’Acte Theatrix performing at TheCrest Theatre in Delray Beach.  Kevin has also produced South Florida tours of La Cage Aux Folles, The Jazz Singer, Smokey Joe’s Café, Funny Girl, Victor/Victoria, Cabaret and Dreamgirls. He recently directed The Jazz Singer at The Willow Theatre in Boca Raton, which sold out every performance. MARGATE, FL:  What do the Everly Brothers, Bobby Darrin, B.B. King, Frank and Elvis have in common?  Great music… and great hair!  Pompadour, a new musical review by Michael Leeds and Kevin Black features a quintet of ‘pompadoured’ guys singing and dancing through five decades of unforgettable music.  The production will run from December 26th, 2015 through January 31st, 2016.

“A few years ago I was out browsing through CDs and it was surprising to see the number of current male artists – like Justin Beiber and Bruno Mars – who sported the classic pompadour,” says Leeds.  “And I started thinking about the many singers through the years who’ve worn that style. After some research I discovered that the Pompadour originated as a symbol of both beauty and rebellion, and its lineage includes some of our greatest artists and groups spanning decades of music. And that was the genesis for a new musical revue called Pompadour!

“I divided the show into seven segments, the same way I had done with Swinging On A Star, but instead of a journey through time, it’s a journey through the different musical styles,” Leeds continues. “Our guides are five amazingly talented guys who all sing, dance, act, and play musical instruments!  We travel from Pop standards to Latin to Country to R&B, using the music made famous by solo artists (all pompadoured!) like Sinatra, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Jose Feliciano; duos like the Righteous Brothers and the Everly Brothers, and great groups like the Temptations, the Beach Boys, and Smokey Robinson and the Miracles.  When you’ve got a show that goes everywhere from Good Golly Miss Molly to La Bamba, from Midnight Train To Georgia to Witchcraft, it’s, – to quote a song we use – Unforgettable!”

“From the very first conceptual meeting, over two years ago now, I knew Michael had something special with his concept for Pompadour,” says Kevin Black, who will act as the show’s co-director and choreographer. “We had never worked together before, but 15 minutes into the conversation, I knew this collaboration would be a great one!

“First and foremost, we needed a must-talented cast. After over a year of auditioning, we found our five guys who not only have incredible voices, but are also very talented dancers, tappers and play piano, sax and acoustic guitar,” Black says. “As for set design, we knew we wanted a large LED screen, allowing us limitless possibilities in our seven thematic segments. Bringing in Michael McClain and Manny Schwartzman has taken our original vision to an even more creative place. We are all looking forward to seeing our vision come to life over the next few weeks.”

Leeds and Black’s five Pompadoured guys are Anthony Massaraotto, Stephen Millet, Preston Grover, Brandon Godfrey, and Jay Wilkinson.

Pompadour will run from December 26, 2015 – January 31, 2016 at The Stage Door Theatre.

Dust off your disco shoes and get ready to have fun with puns. Thinking Cap Theatre will put its own unique spin on one of the theatre’s most beloved classics when it presents Oscar Wilde’s bristling comedy The Importance of Being Earnest at the Vanguard Sanctuary for the Arts. Baby Boom Baby is Koenig’s story, told from his distinctly Baby Boomer perspective. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1953, the year Rock and Roll was born.  The son of a musician who played with Glenn Miller during WW2, Koenig was greatly influenced by chance meetings with John F. Kennedy and later George Carlin, and mostly by what the Beatles brought – the influence of music on Boomers’ culture and personal choices.  In Baby Boom Baby Koenig recounts the years he struggled to keep up with the changing times, just missing Woodstock by a few miles; the rites of passage of College, Travel, Sex and Drugs; and the ever changing cultural and political landscape that music unleashed as it morphed from Disco to Punk to MTV to Rap and beyond.

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL: Pigs Do Fly Productions will present No Fear of Flying! – seven brand new humorous short plays – to kick off its second season. The production will run from May 7th through May 24th at Andrews Living Arts in Ft. Lauderdale.

Chosen to highlight ‘vibrant, healthy people over the age of 50 doing interesting things with their lives’, the plays were selected with all audiences in mind – their first two productions proved to Pigs Do Fly Production beyond a shadow of a doubt that humor is an ageless commodity!   Six of the seven plays are world premieres, including pieces by well-known local playwrights Michael McKeever and Michael Leeds. Other playwrights include John Kane, Marj O’Neill-Butler, Marv Seigel, Jeffrey Strausser, and Charles West.

Michael McKeever’s and Michael Leeds’ plays were commissioned by Pigs Do Fly Productions; the remaining five were chosen from almost 300 submissions – all read by a committee of six. The top 12 pieces were presented at two consecutive ‘cold readings’ at Books & Books in Coral Gables in August, and audience members were asked to vote for their favorites. Those top five vote-getters along with the two commissioned plays comprise No Fear of Flying!

Ellen Wacher“I am so excited about this production,” says Pigs Do Fly Productions Executive Producer Ellen Wacher. “We have seven very diverse plays. All different topics. We’ve got seven terrific actors, and two talented directors. And we’ve proved that there’s a market for, and an interest in what we’re doing. Yes…definitely…no fear of flying!”

Wacher and Pigs Do Fly Productions were recently awarded a prestigious Silver Palm Award for ‘for developing works for actors over the age of 50.’

Beverly Blanchette, Todd Caster, Harry Marsh, Michael H. Small, Elissa Solomon, Carol Sussman, and Donna Warfield have been cast in the production. Elena Maria Garcia will direct three of the plays, and Marj O’Neill-Butler will direct four.

“The funnier and more loving aspects of life after fifty is an area of play production that has been neglected in the past,” says O’Neill-Butler, Pigs Do Fly Productions’ artistic director.

John Kane (Long Story) is the author of the short plays Are You David Mamet? (Fusion Theatre, 2013, Audience Award) and A Thief in the Night (The Puzzle Play Festival, 2014) and the full length play The Eleven O’Clock Number (world premiere, Rising Action Theatre, Ft. Lauderdale).  He is also the author of the comic mysteries Best Actress (Ballantine Books) and Somebody is Killing the Trophy Wives of Beverly Hills (Books for a Buck).  He lives in Los Angeles and can be reached at JohnKaneLA@aol.com.

Michael Leeds (The Lie) wrote and directed Swinging On A Star (Tony Award nomination-Best Musical). Other plays include The First Step, Who Killed Joan Crawford, The Gift, Starmaker, Mira, Mating Habits of the Urban Mammal and numerous 10 minute plays.  For Film: co-wrote The Simian Line (starring William Hurt & Lynn Redgrave) and The Last Film Festival (starring Dennis Hopper & Jacqueline Bisset). As a director, his South Florida productions have earned numerous Carbonell nominations and Awards. As Associate Artistic Director of Island City Stage his production of The Timekeepers garnered six Carbonell Awards including Best Production of a Play and Best Director. Michael McKeever’s (Mitzi Has a Meltdown) plays have been produced throughout the United States, Europe and Russia. Marv Siegel (Signals) is a prolific playwright and member of the Dramatists Guild. Full-length plays include Generations Apart, The Autobiography Of God As Told To Mel Schneider, Taking Secrets To The Grave, Like Marshmallow Chicks In A Box, Moses Of The New Millenium, Powerballs, Mickey And Anthony, The Hospital Room, and The Biography Of Margaret Dawson. Short plays include This Is Not A Test, Standing Tall, and No Returns. His new full-length comedy Jack Benny Isn’t 39 Any More! has just been published.

Jeffrey Strausser’s (There’s Still Time) latest high school and community theatre productions include Somewhere Else Dreams, The Decorator, The Last Prejudice, Family Matters, The Promise, and Peaks and Valleys. Smith & Kraus included The Promise in its anthology, Best One-Act Plays, 2013. Peaks and Valleys was highly acclaimed by Broadway World last year.

Charles West (The European Plan) recently retired after 37 years of teaching. He has published poetry and fiction, and his novel, The Sacred Disc, was published in 2000. His play, Hamlet’s: It’s a Wonderful Life, was produced by the Camino Real Playhouse in Southern California. As a part of the Woodward Shakespeare Festival, in Fresno, CA, he will appear in Two Gentlemen of Verona this summer.

CORAL GABLES, FL – Pigs Do Fly Productions will hold two readings of short humorous plays at Coral Gables’ Books & Books on January 25th and February 1st.

Several months ago Pigs Do Fly Productions put out an on-line call to playwrights from around the world for submissions of 10-minute contemporary comedies written to highlight “vibrant, healthy people over 50 who are doing interesting things with their lives”. Approximately 200 plays were submitted from as far away as Canada, Australia, and Israel, and a committee of 6 took on the task of reading and rating each one.   The plays that will be read were rated the highest of the lot, and audiences will be asked for their opinions at the end of each reading. The top four selections, along with plays by Michael McKeever, Michael Leeds, and Marj O’Neill-Butler will form Pigs Do Fly’s next production, scheduled to take place in May.

“Our mission – to produce plays about people over 50 who are doing different things with their lives and living it to the fullest has found its wings and keeps “flying along”,” says Pigs Do Fly Productions’ founder and Executive Producer Ellen Wacher.   “And our intention is to keep improving our product, the plays,” she continues.  “One way is to pick some of the plays we like and have folks hear them – and then listen to the audience’s reaction – that can make a huge and important difference for our productions.”

Beverly Blanchette, will direct the January 25th readings. She will also read, along with Todd Caster, Michael DeGrotta, and Ellen Wacher.

Carbonell Award-winning actress Karen Stephens will direct the February 1st production. Actors participating that reading are Carol Sussman, Bonnie Robinson, Jerry Weinberg and Michael DeGrotta.

Books and Books is a locally owned, independently-minded neighborhood bookstore with three locations in South Florida – Coral Gables, Miami Beach, and Bal Harbour Shops.
