PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL:  No one’s music better exemplifies the culture, mood, history, and patriotism of America than Irving Berlin.  Long considered one of the greatest songwriters in American history, his works comprise a major part of the Great American Songbook.

Irving Berlin Salutes America, which will open at the PGA Arts Center on November 30th, is a compendium of Berlin’s most patriotic pieces – a musical tribute to Berlin, and to America itself.  The production will run through December 24th.

The show was written by Alan Jacobson, the creator of the popular WaistWatchers – The Musical, which has had several successful runs in South Florida, and is now on tour through the U.S.  Irving Berlin Salutes America debuted in 2002, but has been tweaked and updated to be as relevant today as it was fifteen years ago.

“I revisited this show for three reasons,” Jacobson explains. “First and foremost is that we are living in difficult times, geopolitically and climate-wise, and our own country has seen politics overtake our lives and create tremendous polarization amongst our citizens, friends and family included. I wanted to use the power of the theatre, and live music, to take people’s minds off the daily stresses, and to remember that we must fight against the divisiveness and bring back a sense of unity and patriotism.

“Second was the music,” he continues. “Who better to look to for this kind of upbeat and moving music than Irving Berlin?! This show also exemplifies the tremendous contributions of immigrants; Mr. Berlin was one, and one who proudly served in the American armed services.

And the third reason? “I wanted a real feel good, patriotic show – something that will lift peoples’ spirits.  Irving Berlin Salutes America has all the ingredients of a show that makes us all proud to be Americans.”

Top South Florida cabaret performers Melissa Jacobson, John Lariviere, and Carbonell Award-winner Leah Sessa will star in Irving Berlin Salutes America, which will be directed by Jacobson with musical staging by Andy Fiacco.  Mark Galsky will provide the production’s musical direction.

One of the most prolific composers in American history, Irving Berlin’s music has entertained millions since his first song, “Marie from Sunny Italy” was published in 1907.  His first big hit was “Alexander’s Ragtime Band”, which was published in 1911. “His music served as a social barometer for much of the 20th century. It offered hope to a nation in bleak times, and rejoiced in the good things embodied in the American way of life. It also provided anthems for American culture, including such standards as “White Christmas”, “Easter Parade”, “God Bless America”, and “There’s No Business Like Show Business”. (From Broadway, The American Musical – PBS).

Berlin’s music has also served as inspiration to U.S. military personnel for generations; he was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1918, and was honorably discharged as a sergeant in 1919.  His musical revue, Yip Yip Yaphank, written while he served, produced the timeless classic, “Oh How I Hate to Get Up in the Morning”. Another classic, “This is the Army”, was written in 1942 for the film of the same name; proceeds from performances of that song totaled over 10 million dollars, and were donated to the Army Relief Fund.

The PGA Arts Center will honor Berlin’s dedication to the armed forces by offering specially priced tickets to Irving Berlin Salutes America to Veterans. (ID and roof of Veteran status must be provided in order to qualify for these tickets).

Among the songs included in Irving Berlin Salutes America are “This is a Great Country”, “Blue Skies”, “Cheek to Cheek”, “Always”, “Heat Wave”, “Alexander’s Ragtime Band”, “There’s No Business Like Show Business”, Steppin’ Out With My Baby”, Puttin on the Ritz”, and of course “Oh! How I Hate to Get Up in the Morning”, and “This is the Army, Mr. Jones, and “God Bless America.”

MARGATE, FL:  1962 at the world famous Apollo Theatre in New York City.  It’s a time in American musical history when a new sound is percolating.  The Dreamettes, a trio of aspiring R & B singers, arrive late for a talent contest they hope will launch their musical career. Dreamgirls, the award-winning Broadway hit (6 Tony Awards, 5 Drama Desk Awards, 2 Grammy Awards), opening at Broward Stage Door Theatre on November 3rd,  is the story of these three women – on stage and off.

Kevin Black will direct the production.  Black is a 2017 Silver Palm Award winner – recognized for his direction and choreography of his own show, Swing! Swing! Swing! which had its world premiere at Stage Door Theatre in October 2016. “On the surface, Dreamgirls is a show about the ups and downs of the music industry,” Black says.  “But once you did deeper, you discover it’s a show about family.

“Even though Dreamgirls opened in 1981, and takes place in the 60’s and 70’s, the show’s message is just as relevant today,” he explains.  “And we are really striving to relate this story to today’s challenges:  the struggle for minorities; the drive to be famous; the cost of success and what that can do to an individual – and to their family.

“We have an amazing cast of 18,” Black continues.  “Sarah Gracel is playing the lead role of Effie.  Elijah Word is James ‘Thunder’ Early, and Don Seward will play Curtis Taylor, Jr.”

Also cast are Charisse Shields, Sheena O. Murray, Cherise James, Andre Russell, James White, Joshua Conner, Sandi Stock, Natalie McPherson, Patrick Kolta, Richard Forbes, Alexander Domingue, Jabriel Shelton, Brettnie Black, Stephon Duncan, and Daryl Patrice.

Danny Durr will choreograph Dreamgirls and James Weber will provide the show’s musical direction.  Sound design is by Rushnay Henry, set and lighting design is by Ardean Landhuis, and costume design is by Jerry Sturdefant.  Dreamgirls’ technical director is Paul O’Donnell, and the show’s stage manager is Nancy Clay, assisted by Amanda Eisele.

Dreamgirls will run from November 3rd through December 10th at Stage Door Theatre. The theatre is located at 8036 Sample Road, in Margate.  Tickets for Dreamgirls are $48. BOCA RATON, FL: Evening Star Productions will kick off their newest project, Sol After Dark, with a one-act adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth.  The production, which will run for just three days – from October 26th to 28th – is the first of what Evening Star’s Artistic Director Rosalie Grant says will be “something a little off the beaten theatre path for those hungry for a different bite of theatre.”

“Our lineup of productions will feature an all-inclusive evening in one ticket price,” she explained recently.  “A “bite” of theatre, refreshments, and talk backs after the shows which will include (along with the upcoming Shakespearean selection), absurdism, science fiction, and more.”

Shakespeare’s shortest tragedy, thought to have first been performed in 1606, and often called “The Scottish Play”, Macbeth explores the damaging physical and psychological effects of political ambition on those who seek power for its own sake. Of all the plays Shakespeare wrote during the reign of James I, who was patron of Shakespeare’s acting company, Macbeth most clearly reflects the playwright’s relationship with his sovereign.

Seth Trucks and Sara Elizabeth Grant are collaborating to create the one-act adaptation consisting of a cast of four.  Audience members will be immersed in all that is terrifying about power and the repercussions that follow.

“As Evening Star continues to explore Shakespeare, we thought Macbeth would be the perfect fit for the intimacy that Sol Theatre provides.” Seth Trucks says.  “Having the actors right in the audience’s faces will allow them to track every devious thought in the characters’ eyes.  Already Shakespeare’s shortest tragedy, we have cut it down even more so they the audience never gets a break from the tension.”

Sara Elizabeth Grant will direct the production.  The cast of four includes Trucks as Macbeth, and Amada Ortega, Courtney Poston, and Kimberly Bernzky as Witches One, Two, and Three.  The evening will be hosted by Natalie Herman.

“It’s no secret we live in a world controlled by status, which leaves us the option to either dominate or submit,” says director Grant.  “What’s not so clear is what choices to make when one obtains power, and what hidden forces are behind it.  The story of Macbeth embodies this very struggle, containing degrees of political and magical.  Our adaptation reveals that manipulation can be overlooked by the need for power.

“As we approach Samhain, it is only appropriate to turn our attention to the roles the 3 Witches play in Macbeth… that magic has the ability to alter someone’s fate,” she continues.  “The Witches create a world of hallucination by taking on each pivotal character that Macbeth encounters.  This leaves him the choice to either harness his power for good or allow it to let him fall.”

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL: On a sweltering summer morning in 1892, in Fall River Massachusetts, a prominent business man and his wife were brutally axed to death in their home. Their daughter, Lizzie Borden, was the prime suspect. Lizzie’s trial was a coast-to-coast media sensation, and her story has become an integral part of American criminal mythology.  Lizzie: The Musical – the vibrant, rollicking, rock musical telling of this legendary crime will open Thinking Cap Theatre at the Vanguard’s 2017-2018 season on October 20th.  The production will run through November 4th.

Lizzie: The Musical started out as a four-song theater/rock concert piece written by Tim Maner with songs by Steven Cheslik-DeMeyer, and later expanded into a full musical with more music and orchestrations by newly added collaborator Alan Stevens Hewitt.   It sprang from Maner and Cheslik-DeMeyer’s love of musicals, Americana, women-rockers, and late 80s queer politics.

Although the show’s music is primarily raucous, rock, and of the ‘Riot Girl’ genre, the play also offers a sensitive look at what could drive someone to (allegedly) commit such a heinous crime (Borden was acquitted of the murders after an all-male jury deliberated for just ninety minutes). It allows audiences to relate to the Borden sisters – Lizzie and Emma –  in a way they might not have considered before. This emotional connection wouldn’t be possible without the four incredible performers that make up the cast – Ann Marie Olson as Lizzie Borden, Sabrina Gore as Emma Borden, Leah Sessa as Alice Russell, and Hanna Richter as Bridget Sullivan.

Lizzie:  The Musical will be directed by Thinking Cap’s Nicole Stodard; the production’s musical direction is by Patrick Watkins.

MARGATE, FL:   Stage Door Theatre will present the world premiere of award-winning director/choreograher Kevin Black’s newest production, Tickling the Ivories, beginning October 13th.  The production will run in the venue’s Theatre 2 through November 19th.

Tickling the Ivories celebrates and showcases the instrument that inspired artists ranging from Mozart to Liberace.*

“One of my biggest regrets in life is quitting piano lessons when I was 12,” Black says. “Instead I decided to move into dance class. However, to this day, I wish I could play the piano. Thankfully, I have Ben Bagby and Michael Friedman to translate my concepts into arrangements for pianists and vocalists.

“Ivories highlights the piano, first and foremost,” Black continues. Featuring songs by famous pianists and songwriters from several centuries, Tickling the Ivories combines classical pieces with 20th Century pop classics by the likes of Billy Joel, Elton John, Carole King, Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga, Ray Charles, Barry Manilow and many others.

“We are taking a new approach to this revue – we are letting the songs, talent and creativity of the rehearsal process dictate the structure of the show,” Black explains. “For the first time in my career, I’m allowing the process to flow without a vast amount of structure in the beginning. We are just rounding up week one of our process and so far, I’m completely blown away by the talent of the pianists and the incredible vocalists.”

Pianists Michael Friedman and Sarah Statler will ‘tickle the ivories’ for the production.  They will be accompanied by percussionist Roy Fantel and bassist Rupert Ziawinski.   Vocalists Sandra Marante, Devon Norris, Candice Shedd-Thompson, and Ryan Stutz round out the ensemble.

Musical arrangements for Tickling the Ivories are by Ben Bagby, Kevin, Statler, and Michael Friedman, and vocal arrangements are by Ben Bagby and Kevin Black.  The show’s Musical Director is Ben Bagby; Michael Friedman is the Assistant Musical Director.  The set has been designed by Michael McClain, the lighting design is by Ardean Landhuis, and costume design is by Jerry Sturdefant.  Paul O’Donnell is the show’s Production Manager.

Kevin Black is the owner of Kevin Black Productions, a global company providing entertainment to cruise lines, corporate events, resorts, musical theater productions and tours. Kevin’s extensive cruise line work includes costume design, choreography, production, and direction on Norwegian, Saga, Royal Caribbean and Asuka Cruise Lines. He also recently directed and choreographed Spamalot, Tommy, The Rocky Horror Show, and Into The Woods for Entr’Acte Theatrix performing at The Crest Theatre in Delray Beach, Florida. *The modern piano was invented sometime between 1698-1700 by Bartolomeo Cristofori of Italy. Bartolomeo named his invention un cimbalo di cipresso di piano e forte (“a keyboard of cypress with soft and loud”), which eventually was abbreviated into “Piano”. Since its invention, the piano has have been used to create some of the most beautiful classical music known to man.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL:  Halloween is just around the corner, and who better to celebrate with than the denizens of Dr. Frank N. Furter’s home-sweet-castle in Richard O’Brien’s beloved cult classic, The Rocky Horror Show.   And Entr’Acte Theatrix is inviting audiences to come do the Time Warp again… when they present ‘Rocky’ at The PGA Arts Center October 19th through October 31st.   

The Rocky Horror Show is an outrageous assemblage of – and humorous tribute to – the most stereotypical science fiction and horror movies, Marvel comics, Frankie Avalon/Annette Funicello outings and rock ‘n’ roll of every vintage. The play (upon which the classic film The Rocky Horror Picture Show is based) has grown from an experimental production originally produced in a small London theatre in June 1973, to a cult phenomenon with fans world-wide.  The musical tells the story of a newly engaged couple who, when caught in a storm, find refuge in the home of a decidedly unusual scientist who is madly working towards unveiling his latest and greatest creation.

Rocky is also the quintessential audience participation show, and Entr’Acte will have what have come to be known as  ‘survival kits’ available for purchase for those who want them.

This is the third time Entr’Acte Theatrix will present The Rocky Horror Show.   Their 2012 and 2014 productions were so successful that when an encore presentation was suggested, it was, as Entr’Acte’s founder and producer Vicki Halmos says, “A ‘no brainer’!  Our audiences love the show,” she continues, “and so does our cast.  You can see it during rehearsals.  Their enthusiasm is boundless, and they are so excited to be able to bring all these characters to life – figuratively and literally!” she says with a smile.

Cast in Entr’Acte’s Rocky are Bruno Faria as Brad Majors, Mary Grace Tesoriero as Janet Weiss, Rosseroni Parris as Frank N. Furter, Ashley Alexander as Magenta, Jamie Lynn Cleary as Columbia, Greg Halmos as Riff Raff, Tyler Palmer as Rocky, Darian Cisneros as Eddie, David W. Lamphier as The Criminologist, and Carlo-Rufino Sabusap as Dr. Scott. Also in the cast are Taryn Bagdasarian, Sarah E. Kenny, Sergio Cannata, Annaya Osborne, Cristian Howard, Lara Williams, and Jason Pierre.

Along with director Quinn, the show’s production crew includes co-Producer Greg Halmos, Musical Director Roger Blankenship, Choreographer Danny Durr, Stage Manager Nicole Stav, and Company Manager Carlo-Rufino Sabusap.

Entr’acte Theatrix as the name suggests was started to provide the next step – from classroom to career – and provide young actors a semi-professional showcase for their talents, and an all-important opportunity to build their resumes.

The Rocky Horror Show will run for 15 performances only, from October 19th – 31st, at the PGA Arts Center. PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL:  The PGA Arts Center will present I Will Survive: Soundtracks of the 70’s beginning October 18th. The production will run through November 19th at the increasingly popular Palm Beach Gardens venue.

When award-winning vocalist Mimi J. sought to develop a show about the women of soul who influenced her, she immediately turned to her good friend, Carbonell Award-nominated director/choreographer Kevin Black.  They tossed around a number of ideas, but they kept coming back to the music of the 70s – music they both love. Together they came up with the concept, a title, and the song choices for what was then called On the Radio:  Sounds of the 70s.   The show opened at Stage Door Theatre in Margate in June 2014 to rave reviews.

What had evolved was an evening of unforgettable songs from an unforgettable decade of music produced by an array of artists from ABBA to Carly Simon, to Gladys Knight, John Lennon, and ZZ Top. Now called I Will Survive – The Soundtracks of the 70s, the show is a rousing trip down memory lane – back to the time of bell bottoms, mood rings, smiley faces, and memorable music. Among the songs that will be featured in the show are “Close to You”, “Car Wash”, “Dancing Queen”, “Let it Be”, “Nobody Does It Better”, “Proud Mary”, “Midnight Train to Georgia”, “Hopelessly Devoted”, and “I Will Survive”.

“The challenge,” Black says, “was to try to figure out how to keep it interesting.  Because we didn’t want audiences to think the show is going to be two hours of Disco. It’s definitely not!”

“Kevin and I go to the theatre together a lot,” Mimi explains. “And I’ve never seen anything like what we did with this show – we’re really excited about it.

Along with the name change, the show itself has been tweaked and updated:

“We also felt there was a need to get another experience out there… to diversify the community,” Mimi continues. “This show introduces diversity and ethnicity.  We’re using local talent, and creating a different look and vibe on the stage for our community.  Audiences are going to feel that Soul Train vibe when they’re sitting in their seats… if they can stay in their seats!  Most of our audiences end up dancing!”

Two talented dancers will join Mimi on stage.

Mimi J. was born and raised in Miami. She is a professional singer currently performing in the South Florida tri-county area, and has been the recipient of numerous awards in vocal performance.  She received her degrees in Musical Theater from the University of Central Florida Conservatory Theater in Orlando, where she attended on the Walt Disney Scholarship. Mimi has been a member of the gospel recording group, Revelation S.E.E.D. founded and led by Margaret Reynolds of KC and the Sunshine Band, and has sung background for a number of award-winning artists including Gloria Estefan, Bobby McFerrin, Betty Wright, Ralph Tresvant and Johnny Gill of the R&B group New Edition, and Quan Howell of the gospel group Sounds of Blackness. Some of her regional theatre and Broadway National and International Tour credits include Ain’t Misbehavin’, Smokey Joe’s Café, Fame, Nunsense, and Rent. Mimi was the first woman of color to play Teen Angel in the classic 70’s hit, Grease during the show’s Pan-Asian tour.

The PGA Arts Center was a welcome addition to the South Florida theatrical scene when it opened in January 2017 with a production of WaistWatchers The Musical!  Subsequent productions included Brad Zimmerman’s My Son the Waiter – A Jewish Tragedy, Tommy Koenig’s Baby Boomer Baby, Funny Old Broads, and The Kosher Cheer Leader.

The theatre’s 2017-2018 season promises to be filled with music and laughter: Following I Will Survive, Alan Jacobson’s Irving Berlin Salutes America will open on November 30th and run through December 24th.  Avi Hoffman will bring his popular show Avi Hoffman’s Too Jewish? to the theatre beginning December 27th, and two special New Year’s Eve Champagne Celebration performances starring Avery Sommers, Melissa Jacobson, and John Lariviere are planned for December 31st – one at 7 pm and one at 9:30 pm.   Other upcoming productions include Old Jews Telling Jokes (January 17 – March 4), Cooking with the Calamari Sisters (January 25 – March 18), and Raunchy Little Musical – Belle Barth is Back (March 2018).

I Will Survive will run from October 18 to November 19 at The PGA Arts Center in Palm Beach Gardens. The theatre is located at 4076 PGA Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens (33410).

BOCA RATON, FL:  Who is right, and who is wrong?  David Mamet’s play, Oleanna, asks this question, and leaves its audiences searching for, and often even arguing about the answer.  Evening Star Productions will present Oleanna, at Sol Theatre in Boca Raton, from September 22 – October 8. (There will be a preview performance on September 21.)

A powerful and thought provoking two-character drama, Oleanna is a play about academic politics, student/teacher relationships, and sexual harassment.  The play explores the power struggle between John, a university professor, and Carol, one of his female students, who accuses him of sexual exploitation and, by doing so, spoils his chances of being accorded tenure. The play’s title, taken from a folk song, refers to a 19th-century escapist vision of Utopia*.

Rosalie Grant, Evening Star’s founder and artistic director will helm the production: “Oleanna premiered in 1992, shortly after the infamous United States Supreme Court confirmation hearings of Clarence Thomas brought the term “sexual harassment” into the national spotlight,” Grant explains. “The play deals with a male professor and a female student who are arguing over her grade in his class.  By the play’s end, both of their lives have changed forever – and not for the better.  

“Every time I have seen Oleanna, the audience members are arguing about it in the lobby after the show,” she continues.  “It really pushes some buttons.  It’s hard to believe that in 2017 a story about sexual harassment is once again relevant.  I look forward to eavesdropping on audience conversations after the show.”

Sara Grant and Todd Bruno will portray the play’s two characters, Carol and John.

Director Grant has enlisted Ardean Landhuis to design and construct the Oleanna set and lighting.  Scenic art is by Kate McVay, with an assist by intern Kayla Asuoty, and costume design is by Mj Baum.  The production’s stage manager is Sean Smyth.

Oleanna will run from September 22 – October 8 at Sol Theatre in Boca Raton. (There will be a preview performance on September 21 at 8 pm.) Tickets are $30 and $20 for students. * Oleanna (Oleana) is a Norwegian folk song that was translated into English and popularized by Pete Seeger. The song is a critique of Ole Bornemann Bull’s vision of a perfect society in America. (Bull was a Norwegian virtuoso violinist and composer). Oleanna was the name of one of Ole Bull’s settlements in the New Norway colony of Pennsylvania. His society failed, and all the immigrants moved away since the dense forest made it hard to settle there. The lyrics concern the singer’s desire to leave Norway and escape to Oleanna, a land where “wheat and corn just plant themselves, then grow a good four feet a day while on your bed you rest yourself.”   ~ Wikipedia

MARGATE, FL:  Saturday Night Fever caused a sensation when it debuted in movie theatres in 1977.   The film’s earthy dialogue, gritty story, and throbbing disco music permeated American pop culture for years.  The movie’s soundtrack with music by Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb – The Bee Gees – became one of the top selling soundtrack albums of all time. Stage Door Theatre will present Saturday Night Fever – the stage adaptation of the iconic movie, from September 1st through October 15th.

This musical adaptation celebrates the 40th anniversary of the classic film.  Based on Nik Cohn’s 1975 New York Magazine article “Tribal Rites of the New Saturday Night” and the Norman Wexler screenplay it inspired, the musical focuses on Tony Manero, a Brooklyn youth whose weekend is spent at the local discotheque. There, as he luxuriates in the admiration of the crowd and a growing relationship with Stephanie Mangano, he can temporarily forget the realities of his life, including a dead-end job in a paint store and his gang of deadbeat friends.

Kevin Black will direct the production: “I remember faithfully watching Saturday Night Fever over and over as a teenager,” he says.  “This was before my first visit to New York.  Coming from an extremely rural town in South Carolina, I was in awe of this world I knew nothing about.  All I knew was that I wanted to dance.  This movie, along with Dance Fever and American Bandstand, gave me my life calling.  When we decided to add Fever as our Season 25 opener, the response was overwhelming.”

Musial numbers such as “Stayin’ Alive”, “Night Fever”, “You Should Be Dancing”, and “Jive Talkin’”  will all be included in the production, and Black has engaged a talented cast to bring the show to life.  Daniel Velasquez will play Tony, Alexandra Milbrath will play Stephanie, and Sandi Stock will play Annette.  Also cast are Ben Prayz, Bruno Faria, Danny Durr, Kat Gold, Elissa Solomon, Josh Connor, Steddy Amory, Sean Davis, Seth Dorazio, Yosefa Jennifer Fain, Richard Anthony Forbes, Jenny Hegarty, Natalie McPherson, Christopher Rodriguez, Eduardo Uribe, Avery Wittaker, and Kelly Ziegler.

The show’s production team includes Musical Director Michael Friedman, Choreographer Danny Durr, Set Designer Sean McClelland, Lighting Designer Dean Landhuis, and Costume Designer Jerry Sturdivant.  Stage manager is Nancy Clay, ASM/Sound Engineer is Rushnay Henry, and Paul O’Donnell is the production’s Operations Manager.

MARGATE, FL:  Stage Door Theatre will present Neil Simon’s classic comedy The Sunshine Boys in the popular venue’s intimate Theatre 2, from August 18th through September 24th.

The Sunshine Boys – Al Lewis and Willie Clark – were Vaudeville stars and partners for over forty years, but haven’t spoken to one another for over eleven. When Willie’s nephew Ben approaches his uncle about reuniting with his ex-partner to perform one of their classic skits on a CBS television comedy, their eventual reunion is fraught with acrimony, arguments, memories, and laughter.

“The Sunshine Boys is the fourth Neil Simon play I’ve directed and I think it’s his best,” says the show’s director, Michael Leeds. “It’s incredibly funny, I mean rolling in the aisles funny, and also quite touching.  It’s based on a real actor named Willie Howard who was a very eccentric vaudeville comedian.  Simon got the idea of taking Willie and giving him a partner whom he hasn’t spoken to in twelve years and now they’re going to be on an Ed Sullivan special – and they can’t stand each other.

“I was lucky enough to get a great cast led by Michael Small and Peter Librach, two pros who have these characters in their bones,” Leeds continues. “There’s a hysterical scene where they’re rehearsing the routine, arguing about everything from the line delivery to the furniture placement and it has one of the funniest moments I’ve seen on stage.  If there was a definition of “crowd pleaser” in the dictionary, it would say: ‘Neil Simon’s The Sunshine Boys’.”
Along with Small and Librach, Leeds has cast Ben Sandomir as Willie’s nephew Ben Silverman.  Also in the cast are George Schiavone, Vicki Klein, Jeanin Gangloff, and Elijah Pearson-Martinez.

The show’s production team includes Set Designer Michael McClain, Lighting Designer Dean Landhuis, and Costume Designer Jerry Sturdivant.  Stage manager is Jose-Luis Ramos, and Paul O’Donnell is the productions Operations Manager.
